Acceptable Use Policy

What you must not do with QR Generator by Fitch, how we deal with reports, and how to appeal a decision.

Last updated 28 September 2026

1. Scope

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It covers codes, destinations, hosted pages, files, custom domains and anything else you create or share through the Service, including on qrgopro.com.

2. What is not allowed

  • Phishing: pages or redirects that imitate another organisation or trick people into giving passwords, payment details or personal data.
  • Malware: links to or files containing viruses, spyware, unwanted software or anything designed to harm devices or data.
  • Spam: unsolicited bulk messages, or codes and pages used to promote them.
  • Fraud and scams, including fake payment requests, fake giveaways and misleading investment offers.
  • Deceptive redirects: hiding a harmful destination behind a code, or changing a code's destination to mislead people who scanned it in good faith.
  • Illegal content, or content that is illegal in the UAE, including content that infringes others' intellectual property or privacy.
  • Child sexual abuse material, content that sexualises minors, and non-consensual intimate imagery. We report these to the authorities.
  • Content that incites violence or hatred, or harasses or threatens people.
  • Sale of illegal goods or services, including drugs and weapons.
  • Attacks on the Service: probing, scraping at scale, overloading it, getting around limits or rate limits, or using it to attack others.

3. How we check

We check destinations and payment links against Google Web Risk when you add or change them and may refuse any that are listed as unsafe. We apply usage limits, review reports, and may review content that our systems flag.

4. Reporting abuse

If a code or page on qrgopro.com, or on a domain connected to the Service, is harmful, email customercare@fitchtechnologies.com with the link, what is wrong and, if you can, a screenshot. You can report without an account. We acknowledge reports within 2 business days and act faster on phishing and malware.

5. Takedowns

When we find or are told about content that breaks this policy, we may, depending on how serious it is:

  • pause the code or unpublish the page, so that it shows a holding page instead;
  • remove the content or the file;
  • suspend the account, which stops all its codes and pages and makes it read-only.

For phishing, malware and illegal content we act straight away, without notice. Otherwise we may first ask you to fix the problem. We keep a record of every takedown and tell the account owner by email what we did and why, unless the law or safety prevents it.

6. Appeals

If you think we made a mistake, reply to our notice or email customercare@fitchtechnologies.com within 14 days, explaining why. Someone who did not make the original decision will review it and reply within 10 business days. If we agree, we restore the content or the account.

7. Suspension

A suspended account can still sign in, see its content and manage or cancel its subscription, but cannot make changes, and its codes and pages show a suspended notice. Repeated or serious breaches can lead to the account being closed. Suspension does not by itself entitle you to a refund; see our Refund Policy.
